International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school premises. The theme was YOGA FOR HEART CARE. The day began with the introductory talk by Mrs. Sadhana Jha. In her speech she stressed on the benefits of Yoga. She started the day with breathing exercise Anulom Vilom, Pranayam and followed by the “Asanas” like “Vriksha Asana”, “Utkat Asana”,”Ardha Chandra Asana”, “Trikon Asana”, “Hanuman Asana”, “Vajra Asana”, “Shashank Asana”, “Titli Asana”, “Bhadra Asana”, “Sukh Asana”, “Bhujnaga Asana”, “Makar Asana”, “Uttan Pad Asana”, “Ardh Hal Asana” etc. were performed by the students and the faculty of the school. Benefits, time, limit and special precautions while performing yoga were also discussed during the session
